Today I’m treading into dangerous territory. Evernote seems to have a bit of a cult following and I don’t know as much has I should about it. However, after yesterday introducing (maybe) everyone to Google Keep I thought I’d review one of the other major players in the “notes” app world.
April 6th – Evernote
Evernote was born way before Google Keep (Keep was introduced on March 20th, 2013) in 2007 so the idea was revolutionary. Evernote is a free service that allows users to take notes, voice memos, pictures and share them cross platform. Evernote organizes notes, to-do list, documents, creates reminders, saves photos and creates voice memos.
Evernote is a crowd favorite, possibly because it was (one of) the first, possibly because it speaks to people in a way that their brain works. There are dozens of people out there with great (educational) uses for Evernote, a quick YouTube and Blog search came up with at least 20 of each. Instead of stealing their ideas, I’ll send you to them – Happy Hunting and Happy Evernote-ing!
