May 5th – Diigo

One of the issues of internet and computer reading is the inability to highlight and annotate.  Certain reading apps and paid websites have options, but sometimes I just want to highlight some text on a PDF I pull up from the Internet, on my quest for something to do that, I came across Diigo.

As mentioned before, Diigo is great for highlighting text as a Chrome extension, but when I downloaded and signed up for an account, I found it can do so much more.  Diigo can collect important webpages for you to reference, and come back to read later.  Diigo also has groups built in to share resources amongst a group of people that can subscribe to post.

If you invest some time, Diigo can be really useful and you’ll get used to the work flow.  I have installed the Chrome Extension and can instantly highlight text anywhere and save it – it’s so powerful!
